It has a long tradition of producing wines from the grapes of fertile, unpolluted vineyards in the south-east corner of Moravia, one of the two provinces of the Czech Republic. The winery is located near the historical town of ZNOJMO, close to the Austrian border and a short distance from Vienna. The winery has a sound business reputation and consistently places in the top 100 well respected firms in the Czech Republic. It was established as a private corporation in 1992 after the economic restructuring process following the "velvet revolution" of Czechoslovakia in 1989. ZNOVÍN is an important domestic wine producer receiving many international awards. The winery produces dry white varietal wines, red wines, ice wine, straw wine, and sparkling wines. The Znojmo wine region is especially popular for its rich and full-bodied dry whites and soft velvet reds. ZNOVÍN has earned a certificate for its Environmental Management system based on the international standard EN ISO 14001, which means that the volume of chemicals used during the vegetation of the grapes and for the treatment of wines has been kept to the absolute minimum. Other important Certificates include ISO 9001 (international quality management certification) and Certificate HCCP (food production quality certification). In terms of the volume of production, ZNOVÍN falls in the category of medium-sized producers, which enables the company to focus on quality. The annual production of the company employing about 90 people has reached 5 million bottles of wines. OUR BEER SUPPLIER - PRIMATOR BREWERY PRIMATOR beer is produced from the Czech first-quality raw materials using the technology of bottom fermentation; the malt is from South Moravia, the hops come from Žatec region and top-quality water is from natural preserve of Adršpach -Teplice Rocks, protected Landscape Area Broumovsko. The beer is of full and relish taste without any secondary taste, it leaves a feeling of pleasant on tongue, slowly disappearing bitterness without any rough and astringent touch.
